How Dıd You Get Into Djıng?

I have attended electronic music events in Turkey and abroad for a long time. Archiving music has always been a passion for me. I always find myself near the cabin. One day, suddenly I found myself in the cabin and everything became so natural.

Is There A Dj That You Inspıres You And See As An Idol?

Paula Temple, Thomass Schumaer, Adam Bayer, Helena Hauff DJs and producers whose work I follow. Also, Allignment really shines lately. In Turkey, Ugur project sets very successfully in terms of music and my friend Yigitoglu recently developed quite a bit among few names.

Does The Dj Absolutely Have To Have Notation And Musıc Knowledge?

Note and musical knowledge are essential. Even you start without an education, after a time period you feel that you need it. I do not say that one should go to courses but can reach a lot of online resources and even reading some books, one can take it to the next level. You understand when you have done it.

Does The Dj Have A Retırement Age Or A Tıme To Quıt? Can You Be Left Djıng?

Being a DJ has no age. Music is a tool for almost everyone in the world to interact with the world and with each other, and I think that we can do this as long as we wish to do so. Leaving the music or not is the decision of the person that takes like in every other job.

Is There A Mıx, Song, Or Track You Wouldn’t Mınd If I Dıdn’t Play At A Party?

I like to play old-style trans mixes at the end. I like to close the stage surprisingly and provide something different to people. Bk revolution new trance mixs, Lsg Netherworld Oliver Prime remix, Alignment Nothingness

Do They Have A Goal In Musıc And Djıng?

For sure I have goals. For the moment, I focus on improving myself like most artists in the market. I have started production a while, and I have 2 tracks. I want to provide people something different. While I am trying to find my own style, I try to discover new styles. I can say that I am hard working on this.

How Have You Been Affected By Covıd-19?

We are all affected by means of material and spiritual. Even though I interested in different jobs, being a DJ was very good financially. Rather than that, I am very sad because we are not able to do what we crave. Besides, I have a lot of time to calm my mind spiritually and concentrate on critical thinks. I think that it provides something positive as well as negative aspects. The world should have stopped for a while ;).

How Can You Explaın The Dj’s Sıtuatıon Durıng The Pandemıc?

There are disadvantages of course, but it is an opportunity for everyone to relax, produce, collect what they think.

What Do You Thınk About The Quaıty Djs In The Market And Your Phenomenon Djs?

Increasing the number of DJ in Turkey is very positive like you said as long as with quality. I have friends that I like productions and I know they are really trying. Being in contact with them is very nurturing and I think it is time to bring someone out into the world from Turkey.

Can You Be A Dj Wıth Innate Talent? Or Could It Be A Natural Dj Talent?

Being a DJ means hard working and researching job, even it is not looking 🙂 But more than that, I think it should be inside. It is hard for someone to become a DJ without a rhythm passion and musical ear. You really need to love it and to spare time.

What Are Your Recommendatıons For New Djs?

Advice that I can give to the new starters are not to rush to perform somewhere right away, it is required to practice a lot and archived quality music. For less than 2-years I only played to myself and my close friends, I have still shortcomings. Therefore, I say that practice a lot, archived music, and do a lot of mixes. When you do good things, people will realize.

Is It Intentıonal For Djs To Use Female Vocals? Or Is It Just A Coıncıdence?

Female vocals are very popular especially in techno tracks, we can say that it is the influence of the popular trend. Personally, I am not very interested in the subject 🙂

Is There A Standard For Electronıc Musıc In The World? And Do You Thınk There Is An Improvement?

Improvements had happened for sure, in the last 2-years. But I don’t think that our market is not matured and standardized enough yet. Due to political and economical reasons, I think there are very few clubs of good quality. For these reasons, the opportunity to present themselves is not provided to the different names as much as in Europe, I think we are in a vicious circle. And I support to make techno more underground.

What Do You Thınk Of Now You Tech?

Now You Tech is a new development in my eyes, but it is progressing quite fast. It is really appreciated that you allow different local and foreign artists. It was the right choice to add interviews to the podcast series you have successfully done. Thank you for giving me a place. I wish you continued success.
